Eurovision, Belgrade 2008

It’s the 53rd edition of the european song contest. Nico and Vlad Mirita, Romania’s representatives, qualified for the final that’s gonna be held on Saturday 24 May – 21:00 CET. This is the song that earned them a spot in the big final.

Mercedes comes to Romania

The next generations of the A class and B class are going to be manufactured in Romania, Timisoara county. This area was chosen because of the transport infrastructure available and the high concentration of automotive industry, especially components (electrical, tiers, headlights etc.)

Months have passed and the city streets are filled with garbage no one wants to pick up. In an EU country …

Expectations and the lack of communication

Haven’t you ever wanted something so badly you were under the impression that just thinking strongly enough at it … would make it happen? Well.. it won’t… trust me . Because it’s not enough to think about it.. and dream it.. and make plans about it.. it’s not enough to EXPECT something.. you simply have to ACT about it. And that’s because most of the people don’t realize not even half of the things one truly wants.

During my humble and poor life experience I ‘ve noticed most of the people end up deceived because of various stupid reasons. And top of the list is definitely the lack of communication. So what’s left to do in the 21th century? Just talk .. talk with your friends, your brother, people you barely know or you’ve just met …talk in the most sincere way you can … talk about weather, movies, crushes, food, people…talk about the beggers at the corner of the street, the summer sales, the Pubs you’ve been lately.. just keep talking until you can hardly breathe.. seize the moment and just say all you want to say at the right time.. you’d be amazed how many problems would be solved this way Because, in the end, you’ve got to make your own luck, right?

Pregnant Angelina hits the red carpet

Pregnancies are definitely in fashion in Hollywood these days. Almost every famous actress is rumoured to be pregnant or has recently given birth. That, of course, if they are not actually showing off their pregnant belly at the latest cinematographic events, like Angelina Jolie does at the Cannes Festival.

However, for Angelina it’s slightly more complicated. Apparently, her joy will be double since she’s pregnant with twins. In other words, let’s hope that Brad Pitt has distributive attention and he’ll be able to cope with fathering 6 children in all (including the three adopted by the couple). At least he’s getting close enough to having a football team of his own.

With all these fashion trends, brands such as Gucci, D&G and Armani should perhaps try and rethink their marketing strategy. Size zero models? No, maybe pregnant models…

UEFA Cup final aftershock

The talk about the final won by Zenit St. Petersburg (russian team) against Glasgow  Rangers has  2 main aspects.  First is the huge performance  achieved by Zenit, the second russian team in the last 4 years to win the UEFA Cup.

And there’s the dark side. An outrageous behaviour by Rangers fans spoiled the final. It all started when a giant screen outside the stadium broke down just before kick off. A hardcore group made of Rangers fans began attacking the police present to provide security. Several arrests have been made.  Estimates of the Manchester city hall say that 100 tons of garbage were left behind on city streets.
