France lost one of its most famous designers. Yves Saint Laurent, the brilliant re-inventor of feminine elegance, said farewell to this world and most probably moved to a better one, where to keep on creating great designs for the angels.
Aged 71, YSL died in Paris after he had been suffering from an unnamed illness for quite some time. However, he officially retired from the world of haute couture in 2002.
